Sri Lanka has given a huge target of 323 runs to Nepal in the ACC U-19 Asia Cup being held in UAE. Batting first after winning the toss at Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Sri Lanka scored 322 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in 50 overs. After Sadisha Rajapaksa and Chamindu Wickramasinghe scored centuries.
Sadisha top-scored for Sri Lanka with 131 runs. Similarly, opener Chamindu added 111 runs. For Sri Lanka, who lost the first wicket for 39 runs, Sadisha and Chamindu shared a huge score of 223 runs. Opener Shevon Daniel (17) and Dunith Wellalage (34) contributed unbeaten runs.
On the bowling side, Nepal's Mohammad Adil Alam took two wickets and captain Dev Khanal and Vivek Yadav took one wicket each. Nepal, who arrived in the UAE with the aim of surprising the Test nations, has already scored more than 600 runs while bowling poorly against two Test nations.
Nepal lost the first match by 154 runs. Nepal will play its last match against Kuwait on Tuesday.
