UTMB Ultra Tail Race: Sunmaya, Meera first and second

Nepal's Sunmaya Budha has won the women's UTMB Ultra Tail Race Inthanon-5 in Thailand. In the race that started on Saturday morning Budha became the first to cross the 110 km long distance in 14 hours 12 minutes and 48 seconds and third in all (male-female).

Similarly, Mira Rai finished the race in 17 hours 54 minutes 1 second, 2 hours 18 minutes 47 seconds claiming the second position.

The UTMB Ultra Trail Race is one of the most famous races in the world which is held at Doi Inthanon, the highest mountain in northwestern Thailand.

Inthanon is a national park in Thailand where runners get to experience true adventure due to its geographical placing.

The race is completed by crossing beautiful rivers, hidden waterfalls, royal tombs and interviewing locals which takes around 30 hours.

Budha participated in the race representing the Northface Adventure Team.

Due to her passion and running ability, Asia's famous 'The North Face Adventure Team' in Hong Kong has recently signed her up as a full-time player.
