The Nepalese team is leaving for South Korea on Monday to participate in the Asian Weightlifting Championship.
Sagar Bhandari will compete in the men's 109 kg weight group in the tournament to be held from May 3 to 13. Sagar, who received a scholarship for the Paris Olympics, is the silver medalist of the 13th South Asian Games. The competition is also a qualification for the Paris Olympics.
Sagar will compete on May 13.
