The Executive Committee (Board) meeting of Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) is starting in Pokhara.
Among the 19-member CAN working committee, the vice-president and secretary had resigned a year and a half ago. There are 16 agendas of the meeting that are to be discussed in the meeting.
The meeting is also discussing the agenda of election for the upcoming general meeting and the approval of the decisions made by the performance committee for the Nepal T-20 League.
The term of office of the current working committee of CAN is expiring. A member said that the leadership has started discussing early elections. It will probably be discussed in Tuesday's board meeting that elections should be held 3/4 months before the end of the term.

In relation to the series of ICC Cricket World Cup League, Nepal will play the remaining 3 triangular series matches in League Two. The first series will be held between Nepal, Namibia and Scotland in Kathmandu, while the second series will be held in UAE. Nepal will play against UAE and Papua New Guinea in this series.The final series will be held with the same teams. Nepal will have to win at least 9 of the remaining 12 matches in the League Two series to qualify for the global one-day World Cup qualifiers to be held in India at the end of this year.
