Kumar Thapa, head coach of the Women's national team, has reduced his preliminary squad to 35 players. Previously, there were a total of 58 players in the closed camp on July 24, 2022. Women's National Team is currently preparing for the SAFF Women's Championship to be held from 6th to 19th of September this year.
Nepal is hosting the championship in, Kathmandu at Dasharath Stadium.
