Nepal starts with a win in the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) Women's T20 Championship. Nepal defeated Bhutan by 50 runs in the match played in Malaysia.
Chasing a target of 95 for victory, Bhutan were all out for 44 in 17.5 overs. Nepal's Sabnam Rai took 4 wickets and bowled 2.5 overs.
Similarly, Sita Rana Magar and Kavita Kunwar took two wickets each while Asmina Karmacharya and Indu Burma taking one wicket.
Earlier, winning the toss and batting first, Nepal scored 94 runs in 20 overs. Kajal Shrestha scored the highest 26 runs, Indu Burma scored 20 runs and captain Rubina Chhetri scored 21 runs.
