Climber Prakashraj Pandey, who is on a mission to climb the seven highest mountains in the seven continents of the world, is leaving to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in the African continent. Senior comedians Madankrishna Shrestha, Haribansa Acharya and Kiran KC bid farewell to climber Pandey by handing over the flag of Nepal.
He has successfully climbed 6 mountains of Nepal including Everest, Manaslu, Amadablam and has started a campaign to climb the highest mountains of all seven continents. He is going to go to Africa on October 25 after climbing Mount Elbrus, the highest snow peak in Europe last June.
Pandey says that his campaign can help in the promotion and publicity of Nepal's tourism.
Pandey, who has been climbing mountains continuously since 2016 and climbed Everest in 2018, now aims to climb mountains of different continents.
Makalu Outfit has provided necessary mountaineering gear for his expedition.
