Everest 25 times so far, is in the mood to reach the summit again and climb for the 26th time. Climber Kamirita Sherpa, who has been breaking his own world record every year, told NepalNews that he plans to reach the summit after taking on the important responsibility of rope fixing.
Climber Sherpa is currently in Kathmandu with his family and is leaving for Lukla on April 8. He is planning to go to the base camp of Everest and fix the rope above the second camp.
Under his leadership, some climbers are involved in rope fixing. Climber Kamirita Sherpa also led the work of fixing the rope above the second camp of Everest last year. The rope fixing work below is being carried out with the active participation of the Everest Pollution Control Committee.
Mount Everest climbing is started only after the work of fixing the rope is completed. Other members of Kamirita's team have already left Kathmandu.
Another Climber Pasangdawa Sherpa, who has climbed Mt. Everest 23 times so far, is aiming to reach the summit 24 times this time. He has recently climbed two mountains in four days. He and other climbers reached the 6,119-meter-high Lobuche Mountain and the 6,189-meter-high Island Peak.
He has successfully climbed Mt. Everest nine times. This time he is preparing to climb Mt. Everest for the tenth time. He climbed Mt. Everest for the first time in 2000 and last reached the summit in 2018. He is currently in the United States and is coming to Nepal on April 8 for this.
Her expedition has planned to make a documentary on Nepal's promotion of Mount Everest with the aim of promoting Nepal with the aim of reviving Nepal's tourism sector which has been affected by Covid. He also took the responsibility of managing some mountaineering teams and told Nepal News that he could climb Mt. Everest this time as well.
The Department of Tourism of the Government of Nepal has so far given permission to 22 teams from different countries to climb different mountains of Nepal. The team has 153 climbers including 116 males and 37 females. So far, the top five climbing teams have been allowed to climb the world's highest peak, Mount Everest. There are a total of 31 climbers, including 24 males and 7 females. Similarly, four teams have already got permission to climb Annapurna for the first time.
A total of 26 people, including 14 men and 12 women, have been allowed to climb there. Similarly, three teams have already got permission to climb Amadablam Mountain. The team has a total of 23 climbers including 18 men and 5 women. Similarly, 16 people including 14 men and 2 women have been allowed to climb Himlung Mountain. Similarly, two teams have got permission in Nupse Mountain. In which 15 men and 2 women and 17 others are climbing.
The government of Nepal has so far collected 463,200 US dollars from various teams.
