Kamirita Sherpa, a Nepali mountaineer who has climbed the world's highest peak Everest 28 times and set a world record, has successfully climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, the largest mountain in Africa, today. He left for America a few weeks ago and went to climb Mount Kilimanjaro from there. He has said that he will return to Nepal this September.
Mount Kilimanjaro is located in Tanzania. It is the highest single free-standing mountain above sea level in the world: 5,895 m (19,341 ft) .
Kilimanjaro is the fourth most topographically prominent peak on Earth.
