Historical pictures of Kathmandu Valley are exhibited in Pokhara.
On the occasion of the 21st International Mountain Museum Day, that historical picture was exhibited for a week in Pokhara.
The photo exhibition is organized in collaboration with the Patan Museum Development Committee and Hanuman Dhoka Darbar Museum. The paintings, pictures, and photographs taken by the then palace photographer late Dirgha Man Chitrakar and his son Ganeshman Chitrakar are displayed in the exhibition reflecting the palace area's monuments, fairs, festivals, and people's lives.
22 pictures depicting the Great Earthquake of 1990 etc. have been displayed. The exhibition was jointly inaugurated by Pokhara Mayor Dhanraj Acharya and Lalitpur Mayor Chiribabu Maharjan.
