Gorkhapatra, a government-run daily newspaper, reported that an Air Dynasty helicopter crashed at Shivpuri 7 Surya Chaur in Nuwakot. Gorkhapatra Online also informed that Nuwakot DSP Tilak Bharti informed that there was a pilot and four passengers in the helicopter.
Tribhuvan International Airport General Manager Jagannath Niraula informed that the helicopter had crashed and no further information was available.
According to the Superintendent of Police of Nuwakot, Shantiraj Koirala, the helicopter accident occurred in the Suryachaur area of Shivpuri Rural Municipality-7 Shivpuri forest. "Security personnel from the local and nearby police stations are trying to rescue and extinguish the fire", he said.
