A team of climbers led by world-renowned climber Kamirita Sherpa has completed the work of clearing the way to the fourth camp of Everest. Kamirita said the rope fixing of the fourth camp was completed but the weather was bad. They are currently resting at the Everest base camp.

Climber Kamirita Sherpa is aiming for his 26th success in climbing Mount Everest. Sherpa, who has been breaking his own world record every year, is now the world record holder to reach the summit of Mt. Everest for the most number of times.

Only after the rope fix is the route now open for climbing Mt. Everest.

In previous years, the rope-fixing team climbed Mt. Everest for the first time in the season. Earlier, a team of climbers fixed the rope on the route to climb from the south. Other climbers also climb Mt. Everest with the help of the same rope.

Sherpa and his team members will now be involved in setting the rope to the summit of Mount Everest once the weather improves. This is how they set new ropes every year. They also set new colored ropes every year so that the climbers do not get confused. The work of setting the rope above the fourth camp is expected to be completed by May 10.

The Government of Nepal has given permission to 316 climbers from 58 different countries, including 243 men and 73 women, to climb Mt. Everest this spring.

Most of the teams aiming to climb Mt. Everest are now reaching the base camp and making necessary preparations.
