The city of London will start a train service operating from tomorrow which will be named in honour of Tul Bahadur Pun.
Pun was a recipient of the Victoria Cross, the highest gallantry award given by the United Kingdom. He received the Victoria Cross for his services during the Second World War. Great Western Railway will organise a special ceremony tomorrow at Paddington Railway Station to name the train service after Pun.
The railway service is being named to honour Pun tomorrow, which is the 75th anniversary of him being awarded the Victoria Cross. Pun received the award when he was only 21 years old. He passed away in 2011.
