Chief of Gandaki Province Prithviman Gurung has said that International Mountain Museum is the perfect example of mountain, mountain life and its culture.
In an onsite visit of the International Mountain Museum managed by Nepal Mountaineering Association in Pokhara Metropolitan City-17, the Province Chief talked about running the museum by managing it well.
Likewise, Gurung said that the museum should be developed as a popular tourism destination through different campaigns.
The museum was reopened for the visitors last week after its closure for more than four months due to spread of coronavirus infection.
Currently, around 70 domestic and international tourists visit the museum for study and inspection, Sarita Kandel, an official from the museum said.
