Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) has started preparing for direct flights to South Korea.
Archana Khadka, the spokesperson of the corporation, informed that the process for flying to Incheon International Airport in Seoul, the capital of South Korea, has been started.
For that purpose, a 10-member safety audit sub-committee has been formed under the coordination of the Corporation's Deputy General Manager (Technical) Engineer Vikram KC.
"For the flight, the Civil Aviation Authority Nepal under South Korea's Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport has to be audited, for the preparation of the same, a committee has been formed on behalf of the corporation and is about to start work", Khadka said.
The corporation has started preparations for direct flights to South Korea in accordance with the plan to expand international flight destinations. The corporation is currently operating international flights to three destinations in India and 10 destinations in eight countries. The corporation has two narrow-body A-320 and two wide-body A-330 ships.
