Nepali climber Pasang Dawa Sherpa has successfully summited Mount Everest 25 times. He climbed the peak for the 24th time last week.
According to Imagine Nepal, he reached the summit for the 25th time at 5:08 am yesterday.
Sherpa had climbed Everest in 1998, 1999, 2002, 2003, 2004, and 2006. Similarly, he climbed Mt. Everest in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011 and reached the summit twice in the same year in 2007, 2012, and 2022.
Another climber Ngima Nuru Sherpa also summited Everest 24 times. Resident of Thiso, Khumbu, Nima Nuru first climbed the peak in 2000 and reached an altitude of 7,900 meters. In 2001, he was successful in summiting the peak and has climbed the mountain twice a year many times. He climbed Mt. Everest for the 24th time along with Pasang Dawa.
Both climbers started working with Imagine Nepal's team this spring. They both reached the top of Mount Everest with clients on May 16, 2022, and landed at base camp on May 17. Both climbed to Camp 2 on May 19 and then to South Col on May 20.
Rajendra Thakuri (for the first time) and Tenzin Salaka Bhote (for the first time) also reached the summit of Everest yesterday.
