Gandaki Province Chief of the Rastriya Samachar Samiti (RSS), Basudev Paudel, has been honoured here Sunday.
The Embroidery and Garment Association (EGA) honoured RSS Province Chief Paudel in recognition of his contribution to the tourism sector through journalism.
Chairman of the Pokhara Tourism Council, Pom Narayan Shrestha, and Chairman of EGA Pokhara, Indra Prasad Bhandari, jointly honoured journalist Paudel.
Council Chairman Shrestha appreciated the role of AGA, saying that it contributed to boosting tourism with production of embroideries which are largely sold to tourists.
He complained that the State was not able to bring projects to revive tourism dented by the COVID-19 in Pokhara.
