Nepal's senior tourism entrepreneur Shyam Bahadur Pandey has passed away. He was the founder of Sangrila Hotel.
Pandey passed away today at 11 am.90-year-old Pandey was suffering from Alzheimer's for a long time. A few days ago, he was admitted to Grandi Hospital for treatment.
Late Pandey also established hotels in Kathmandu, Pokhara and Chitwan. He was the former president of Hotel Association of Nepal HAN.
He has contributed significantly to various tourism associations including PATA, HAN, IHRA, NICA, NTB. He was involved in the development of tourism and hospitality sector throughout his life.
