Nepal's famous singer Raju Lama has succeeded in climbing Everest. He reached the peak with a 27-member team at 6:40 am on Monday.
According to Imagine Nepal Expedition the team consisted of climbers from Nepal and four other countries.
Singer Lama climbed the highest peak to convey the message of the effects of climate change. A few days ago, he had done a concert at Camp 3 of Everest at an altitude of 6,574 meters.
Lama, 44, has connections with singers and lyricists among the Nepali audience. He is involved in the Mongolian Heart Musical Band. He has sung in Nepali, Tibetan and Tamang languages. He was the judge of the reality television show called Voice of Nepal.
