TIA: Don't overcrowd the airport amid Omicron scare

The Tribhuvan International Airport Office (TIA) has requested the public not to overcrowd at the premises of the airport due to the scare of a new variant of COVID-19: Omicron.

Stating that the number of passengers at the airport has been increasing recently and the congestion has also increased due to those going to bid their loved ones farewell, the airport office has requested all to avoid unnecessary congestion.

The office has also asked to follow the health standards with high vigilance while coming and going at the airport. This comes after the increase in spread of Omicron variant across the globe. The administration has called to avoid overcrowding the airport to protect their loved ones from the new variant.

According to the airport office, the airport is overcrowded due to lack of space.
