It has been 30 years since Pasang Lhamu Sherpa climbed the world's highest peak, Mount Everest. She climbed Mt. Everest on 22 April 1993, representing all Nepali women.
The Pasang Lhamu Foundation informed that the film will be screened in QFX halls across the country at a press conference held on Wednesday along with the premiere show.
The Pasang: In the shadow of Everest documentary, based on the biography of the late Pasang Lhamu Sherpa, the first Nepali woman to climb Mt. Everest, has won a Special Recognition award in Bentonville Film Festival in United States.
The Pasang Lhamu Sherpa Foundation, which has been supporting the health and education of women and children in the highlands, has provided scholarships for higher education.
