It has been found that various kinds of foreign liquors worth 3.72 billion rupees have been imported in Nepal within a year.
According to the Customs Department, during the last financial year 2078/79, Nepal imported alcohol equivalent to the said price from various countries. During that period, 3 billion 71 crore 15 lakh 16 thousand rupees worth of liquors entered Nepal.
In addition to that, 67 lakh 78 thousand 371 liters of liquor have been imported.
