ATHMANDU: Gold and silver prices have reached unprecedented levels today, continuing an upward trend that has persisted for the past week.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Traders, gold prices climbed by Rs 800 on Wednesday, hitting a record high of Rs 166,700, a notable rise from yesterday's Rs 165,900.
Silver also saw a significant increase, gaining Rs 35 per tola to reach Rs 2,135, up from Rs 2,100 the previous day.
This steep rise in gold and silver prices, which began in the last week of September, shows no signs of abating as we head into the final week of October.
