Call for GM application of Hetauda Cement Industry

The government has invited applications for the vacant post of General Manager of Hetauda Cement Industries Limited. The Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies has published an information today inviting applications for the purpose of appointing a general manager through open competition.

Interested persons can apply for the post of General Manager within 21 days from the date of publication of the notice, the ministry said. Applications can be submitted to the Administration and Institution Branch of the Ministry of Industry. The notice issued by the ministry states that the applicant should submit business action plan for the operation of the industry along with the application. Anyone over the age of 35 and under 65 can apply for the post of General Manager. The ministry has stated that a person who has completed a master's degree in administration, management, economics, engineering or law and has worked for at least five years in an officer-level position in the managerial responsibility of an organization can apply.

The best will be recommended for appointment through presentation of professional action plan and interview of the selected candidates after the application is approved. The government-owned industry has been without a general manager for the past month and a half. The tenure of General Manager Prem Shankar Singh ended last December. Singh had been holding the responsibility of general manager since 2014.
