The stock market gauge Nepse index has declined by around 30 points today. Contrary to expectations that the first trading of the new year will be positive, the Nepse index has declined today.
According to the Nepal Stock Exchange, the NEPSE index fell by 29.60 points to 2,385.64. Similarly, the Sensitive Index, which measures the trading volume of large companies, fell by 5.12 points to 450.97.
The transaction amount has also decreased along with the downward trend of the Nepse index. A total of 347,272 shares of 233 companies were bought and sold at a price of Rs 1.44 billion. After today's trading, the market capitalization has been limited to an average of Rs. 3384.12 billion.
According to Nepse, shares of all the 13 subgroups traded have declined. Banking 8.89, Trade 6.39, Hotel and Tourism 63.24, Development Bank 66, Hydropower 42.88, Non-Life Insurance 120.65, Manufacturing 88.8, Others 34.01, Microfinance 44.74, Life Insurance 200 .87, collective investment funds decreased by 0.04 and investment by 1.5 points.
Nepal Telecom Company is in the top position in terms of turnover. The company had a turnover of Rs. 49.947 million. Similarly, Arun Valley Hydropower had a turnover of Rs. 486.25 lakhs, Global IME Bank bonds amounted to Rs. They managed to be in the top five.
According to Nepse, the share price of Nashdo Samridhi Microfinance rose by 10 percent, triggering a positive circuit. Investors in Jalpa Community Microfinance 4.03, Community Microfinance 3.98, Unnati Sahakarya Microfinance 3.33 and NIC Asia Balance Fund gained 1.99 percent. According to Nepse, only the share prices of 24 companies had risen today.
Similarly, the share price of Himalayan Energy Development Company fell by 10 percent, causing a negative circuit. Investors in Emerging Nepal 7.58, Rashtra Utthan Microfinance 6.07, Smalling Power Company 5.69 and New Sarathi Microfinance lost 5.41 percent.
