Kalika Group has so far made a total of Rs 110 million in profit from the sale of power.
The Company disclosed the details from the 13th general meeting held on Friday in Chitwan. The Company earned up the profit in the first six months of the current fiscal year.
The Company is generating 6-megawatt (MW) power from Daraudi-'A' Hydroelectric Project and is planning its investment in four other hydel projects, the officials said.
The Company’s Chairman and former minister Bikram Pandey announced to make Kalika Power Company the largest power producing company in the country.
He also asked the government to take policy promoting investment in hydropower companies, Rastriya Samachar Samiti reported.
