NEPSE index increased by double digits

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index, which was down for two days at the beginning of this week, has increased by double digits on tuesday. In Tuesday's business, the NEPSE index increased by 12.73 points to 2088.70 points.

On Tuesday, 64 lakh 50 thousand 934 shares of 282 different companies were bought and sold 46 thousand 731 times.

Along with the NEPSE index, the sub-indices of all groups are also green. Hotel and tourism group increased by 133.34 points and the non-life insurance group by 78.07 points. Banking group increased by 1.07 points, development bank by 31.05 points, finance by 35.34 points, hydropower by 3.16 points, investment by 0.99 points and life insurance by 30.50 points.

Similarly, production and processing increased by 40.08 points, microfinance by 30.21 points, mutual funds by 0.02 points, trade by 15.81 points and other groups by 15.81 points.

The share price of City Hotel Limited has increased by 9.98 percent, while the share price of BPW Laguvitta Financial Sanstha Limited has entered a negative circuit today.

Based on the transaction amount, the largest number of shares worth Rs. Similarly, on the basis of the number of shares traded, the highest number of shares of Himalayan Life Insurance Limited was 2 lakh 14 thousand 583 shares.
