The stock market gauge Nepse index has risen to a higher level today after several days. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange, the Nepse index has risen by 52.31 points to reach 2,566.90. Similarly, the Sensitive Index, which measures the trading volume of large companies, rose by 6.34 points to 493.53.
A total of 5.6 million 10 thousand 631 shares of 226 companies were bought and sold at a price of Rs 2.79 billion. Shares of 13 subgroups traded higher. According to Nepse, banking 16.49, trade 60.53, hotel and tourism 42.44, development bank 202.91, hydropower 124.42, finance 102.78, non-life insurance 248.1, manufacturing 127.2, others 0.86. Microfinance has risen by 97.4 points, life insurance by 372.79 points, collective investment fund by 0.22 points, and investment by 3.41 points.
The market capitalization reached Rs. 36.37 billion on the last day of the trading week. Apipower tops the list in terms of turnover. The company had a turnover of Rs. 166.529 million. Similarly, Nepal Telecom Company had a turnover of Rs. 131,256,223, NIC Asia Bank Rs. 124,611,575, Arun Valley Hydropower Rs. Are in the top five.
According to Nepse, Emerging Nepal Limited gained 9.98 percent, Karnali Development Bank 8.89 percent, Nepal Hydro Developers 8.65 percent, Progressive Finance 8.53 percent, and Jyoti Vikas Bank 8.47 percent. Investors in Mountain Energy lost 3.08 percent, Nepal Telecom Company 2.02 percent, Bottlers Nepal Terai 1.83 percent, ICFC Finance 1.36 percent, and Goodwill Finance 1.36 percent.
