The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index Monday closed at 2,698.24 points with a decline of 114.02 points from yesterday's closing.
The benchmark index declined by 4.05 per cent or 114.02 points to land at 2,698.24 points today. Similarly, the sensitive index has dropped by 3.71 per cent or 3.71 points landing at 506.27 points and the float index decreased by 4.04 per cent or 7.96 points to 188.70 points.
A total of 17,330,538 shares of 225 listed firms were traded today at the country’s sole secondary market through 107,596 transactions.
The total turnover today stood at more than Rs 8.49 billion.
