Norvic International Hospital, which is situated in Thapathali of Kathmandu, is preparing to issue an initial public offering (IPO). The hospital, which was a private entity previously, has announced that it has transformed into a public company. With the shift in its structure as a public institution, the hospital has decided to issue IPO.
Executive Director of Norvic Hospital Rajendra Bahadur Singh said that in order to ensure people's participation the hospital has reformed as a public institution.
Singh also added that the hospital will now be renamed Norvic International Hospital and Medical College Limited. With the issuance of the IPO, the hospital will be the first hospital and medical college in Nepal to be listed in the share market after it gets permission from the board of Nepal Stock Exchange, informed Singh.
