Slight decline in NEPSE

The NEPSE index, which measures stock trading in the stock market, has declined even today. On Thursday, the last day of the trading week, the NEPSE index fell by 1.94 points to 2,732.51.

The Sensitive Index, which measures the trading volume of large companies, fell 0.02 points to 518.64. The transaction amount has also decreased along with the downward journey of NEPSE. A total of 4,017,429 shares of 227 companies were traded at a price of Rs 2.27 billion.

According to NEPSE, out of the total 13 subgroups traded, the share price of five subgroups has risen today while the shares of eight subgroups have declined. Trade rose by 12.33 points, hydropower by 2.59 points, manufacturing by 0.11 points, others by 5.12 points, and collective investment funds by 0.02 points. Banking declined by 0.07 points, hotels and tourism by 9.7 points, development banks by 20.3 points, finance by 10.63 points, non-life insurance by 6.2 points, microfinance by 4.47 points, life insurance by 54.61 points, and investment by 0.34 points.

Life Development Microfinance tops the list in terms of turnover. The company had a turnover of Rs. 223.736 million. Himalayan Distillery had a turnover of Rs. 122.014 million, Nepal Telecom Company Rs. 102,75,762, Arun Valley Hydropower Rs. Succeeded in falling.

According to NEPSE, the market capitalization has reached Rs. 3870.29 billion after today's trading. On the basis of turnover, Tehrathum Power Company gained 6.47 per cent, United Idi Mardi Hydropower 6.32 per cent, Samling Power Company 4.13 per cent, Jeevan Vikas Microfinance 3.53 per cent and Malung Khola Hydropower Company 3.47 per cent.

Investors in Buddhabhumi Nepal Hydropower lost 4.02 per cent, NIC Asia Bonds 3.90 per cent, Greenlife Hydropower 3.39 per cent, Nerude Microfinance Development Bank 2.29 per cent and civil microfinance investors 2.27 per cent.
