CCMC urges everyone for further caution against COVID-19

The COVID-19 Crisis Management Centre (CCMC) has urged everyone to adopt further caution against COVID-19 in the wake of increasing coronavirus infection as the second wave.

The CCMC meeting on Saturday concluded that there is a need for caution against the virus as it said the coronavirus' variants have been detected.

The meeting discussed the situation of the latest infection and preparedness for its control and appealed to general people for additional caution and for following health protocol, said Secretary at the Office of Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, Khaga Raj Baral.

It was also decided to make active the CCMC in districts and health desks at transits with neighbouring India and China and to increase antigens tests for the infection. Infected people will be admitted to hospitals and suspected ones kept at the quarantine facility.
