Civil servants of the non-gazetted first class level have started a protest against the unequal wage increase.
Prakash Bhattarai, secretary of the Nepal Civil Servants Union, has said that as part of the protest program, employees of the country will be on holiday on Tuesday.
The employees staged a pen-down at Singha Durbar on Monday.
