The ruling five political parties have said they would soon decide on seat allocation for the November 20 election to the House of Representatives and Province Assembly.
The meeting of the top leaders of the ruling parties held at the Prime Minister's residence, Baluwatar, on Sunday said they were for finalizing seat sharing in two days.
Minister for Communications and Information Technology and government spokesperson Gyanendra Bahadur Karki said the ruling alliance had intensified the discussion to conclude seat sharing within two days. The ruling alliance task force is meeting at 1:00 pm Monday.
The decision on seat sharing would be just, respected, and 'win-win' for the alliance partners, according to Minister Karki.
Senior leaders of the Nepali Congress, CPN (Maoist Centre), CPN (Unified Socialist), Janata Samajbadi Party Nepal, and Rashtriya Janamorcha attended the meeting coordinated by Prime Minister and NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba.
