The meeting held among chief district officers of Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur to discuss prohibitory order and its modality remained inconclusive today.
The CDOs held a meeting this afternoon to decide on changing the modality of the prohibitory order issued in Kathmandu valley. They could not come to conclusion on whether to allow grocery shops and department stores that have been asked to close at present. Moreover, it has yet to be seen whether the construction activities will be allowed in the valley.
The prohibitory order will be extended again since the present situation does not allow to completely lift the restriction, as per CDOs. The meeting will be continued tomorrow.
The prohibitory order which had been extended recently will be over at midnight on June 3.
