Nepali actor, comedian, writer and singer, Madan Krishna Shrestha has undergone angioplasty at a hospital in Bansbari, Kathmandu.
He was admitted to Shahid Gangalal National Heart Centre, Bansbari after he complained of chest pain on Sunday.
According to a doctor at the hospital, the health condition of Shrestha is in progress after angioplasty.
Meanwhile, he has been shifted from the intensive care unit (ICU) ward to the deluxe room of the hospital.
The 71-year-old actor is the most popular stage performer and comedian of his time.
