Police arrested a man on the charge of raping a 33-year-old woman in Lalitpur district.
The accused has been identified as Ramesh Thapa Magar (37) of Mahalaxmi Municipality in the district. Magar operates a shop at Lubhu-9 in the municipality.
The accused raped the woman inside his shop on Tuesday. Acting on a tip-off, a team deployed from Metropolitan Police Sector (MPS) nabbed the accused from Chetana chowk in Mahalaxmi Municipality-9 on Tuesday.
Further investigation into the case is underway, informed police.
