A meeting was held between President Bidyadevi Bhandari and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba on Thursday evening. Prime Minister Deuba had reached the President's Office, Sheetal Niwas for a courtesy call on President Bhandari.
During the regular meeting, current issues were discussed. Personal Secretary to the President Bhesharaj Adhikari said that the growing coronavirus pandemic was discussed during the meeting. According to him, during the meeting, President Bhandari was briefed about the recent coronavirus infections in Nepal and the availability of vaccines against corona.
