Minister of Communication and Information Technology Gyanendra Bahadur Karki has said that within the next 10 years, Nepal will develop as the richest in South Asia.
Releasing the book titled 'Protal' written by child writer Geet Pachhai today, Government Spokesperson Karki said that Nepali civil society, literature and art will play an equal role in developing Nepal as a rich country. Minister Karki emphasized on the need to encourage the new generation for preservation and development in the field of Nepali literature. He said that Nepal should be recognized as a civilized and beautiful country in the world.
Science topics are included in the novel 'Protal' published in English language. Minister Karki expressed his commitment to support 'Protal' to the international community through 'NTV World', which is about to be launched by Nepal Television. Urban Development Minister Metmani Chowdhury said that the government is committed to protect and promote the literary sector while appreciating the contribution made by the Nepali literary sector to the social change.
