Prohibitory order in Kathmandu likely to be extended by 15 days

The prohibitory order that has been imposed in Kathmandu valley is likely to be extended. The restriction which began on April 29 and is supposed to end on May 12 is likely to be extended by another 15 days.

The meeting of the District COVID-19 Crisis Management Centre held on Sunday has recommended the government to extend the prohibitory order in Kathmandu valley by a further 15 days. According to Kali Prasad Parajuli, the decision to extend the order had been discussed with the mayors of Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur.

The decision to extend the prohibitory order and by how many days will be taken by the chief district officers of the three districts within Kathmandu valley.
