The 12th International Folk Cultural Fair has been completed. The fair started in Kathmandu and was organized in different parts of the country. More than 350 artists from 11 countries participated in the fair program.
After the inaugural program in Kathmandu, the fair returned to Kathmandu via Ghorahi in Dang, and Lakeside in Pokhara. In Kathmandu, artists from 11 countries gave their performances at Basantpur Durbar Square and Laligurans National Academy at Manmaiju.
Participating artists from Austria, Belgium, Botswana, Estonia, Germany, Nepal, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Poland and South Africa performed for 10 days.
The performance was watched by more than 1 million viewers.
For the past two decades, every two years, Everest Nepal Cultural Group has been organizing cultural performances by inviting different countries of the world.
Founder President of Everest Nepal Cultural Group Dr. RC Koirala 'Ramchandra' expressed belief that such a cultural exchange program will strengthen the relationship between different countries.
