The En Vogue 8 by House of Fashion Nepal (HOF) had yet another successful event “Thrift by HOF” (for a cause), today. All the contestants took active part in the charity event. They were divided into different groups and each of them was given a task. The excitement and hard work of the contestants were exceptional.
With 9-10 stalls, the event was full of stirring packages. There were stalls full of treats (cookies, muffins, banana cake and choco lava cake), face painting, plants, pani puri, yomari and choila, earrings, and books. Every mouth-watering dish was prepared by the participants themselves. They also had stalls for cloth thrift, tarot card reading, and fun game stalls for recreation.
Speaking about today's event, Oshima Banu, the founder of HOF said, “Thrift culture is normal in foreign countries. That is why we want to normalize this concept in Nepal too.”
“The contestant did all the settings for the event, from planning to cooking and baking. The task was all about making them understand the value of teamwork”, she adds.
