A writ has been registered in the Supreme Court against the appointment of Bhuvan KC, chairman of the Film Development Board, Nepal, who was nominated as per the decision of the Cabinet 18 days ago.
The other candidates who applied for the chairmanship of the board claiming that, actor Bhuvan KC is not qualified enough to be appointed as the chairman, filed a petition demanding the annulment of the Cabinet's decision to appoint KC.
For the appointment of the chairman of the board, the graduation level should be passed, but KC has only passed the certificate level, so he demanded that the appointment should be revoked.
