Five journalists and a daily newspaper have won various awards provided by the Federation of Nepalese Indigenous Journalists (FONIJ).
Journalist Dilip Thapa Magar has bagged the ‘FONIJ National Journalism Award 2080’ and ‘Nepal Bhasha Times Daily’ the ‘FONIJ Mother Language Journalism Award, 2080’.
Similarly, the ‘FONIJ National Journalism Award 2080’ will be awarded to late Kisan Rai (posthumously), Dev Pachabhaiya (Palpa), Jiban Lama (Dolakha) and Unnati Chaudhary (Kailali), said the FONIJ General Secretary Milan Limbu.
All these awards will be distributed on the occasion of the 24th Establishment Day of the FONIJ in Biratnagar, Morang on coming 12 August, he said.
