KKR Cricketer Enjoys SRK's 'Jawan,' Expresses Gratitude

A large number of fans thronged cinema halls all over India as Superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s action thriller film ‘Jawan’ hit the big screens on Thursday.

While the actor received a lot of acclaim from individuals from all walks of life, Rinku Singh of the Kolkata Knight Riders also went to the theatre to see director Atlee's action-packed movie.

Rinku posted photos from the cinema on Instagram. He captioned the post, “DND. Watching my fav @iamsrk love you sir.”

In one photo, he is seen posing with the Jawan poster in a white t-shirt and black pants.

The other picture showcased him eating popcorn and watching his favourite actor on the big screen.

The batting sensation also jokingly requested that his fans refrain from bothering him while he is in the middle of viewing a movie starring his favourite actor.

Talking about the film, SRK’s fans went crazy over ‘Jawan’ across the country.

They also showed their love and devotion for the 57-year-old actor by worshipping his effigies, dousing them in milk, and dancing to his music both inside and outside of the theatres.

Meanwhile, Rinku Singh had a breakout Indian Premier League (IPL) season with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) this year, scoring 474 runs at an average of 59.25, with four fifties. He came into the limelight by hitting Gujarat Titans bowler Yash Dayal for five successive sixes in the final over during a chase of 205. On the back of his performances, he was included in India’s Asian Games squad.

He made his international debut for India against Ireland in August, scoring 38 in 21 balls. He has made a name for himself with his calmness on the field and finishing abilities.
