A feature film based on the first plane hijack in Nepal is in the works, according to Thunder Production Company.
Additionally, a poster featuring the movie's first look has been issued by the producers. The title of the movie is 9NABB, which was the flight number of the plane that the former prime minister of Nepal hijacked in the early years of the third millennium.
Under the auspices of Thunder Studios, Bijay Karki is directing the film. The film's storyline is nearing completion. There are rumors that certain well-known stars will appear in this historical event-based film.
On Jestha 28 of the year 2083, or precisely 53 years after the incident, 9NABB will be made available.
The armed uprising against the Panchayat system was funded by the hijacking. BP Koirala had a key role in planning the event.
Bijay Karki asserts that the movie will offer a closer examination of the historical occurrence, which is acknowledged as one of the key acts in the multi-party revolution. "The film offers several unspoken but genuine storylines. We are presenting it in the form of a movie because it is crucial for us to understand what actually occurred. We are collaborating extensively with all parties, including stakeholders," he stated.
The way the incident was organized, carried out, and what transpired afterwards will all be revealed, he continued.
