Paul Shah in custody for 12 more days

Actor Paul Shah, who was arrested in connection with the rape case, will remain in custody for another 12 days. The District Police Office, Tanahu will keep him in custody for another 12 days and sought permission from the District Court, Tanahu for further investigate.

Police took him to the district court on Sunday for an extension. According to police sources, permission has been given to keep him in custody as the investigation has not been completed. Police had started searching for the girl after she lodged a complaint alleging that she had been raped on February 23.

He then went to the police on 27 February. The police had given permission to keep him in custody for seven days earlier.
