Former Prime Minister and Chairman of the CPN (Maoist Center) Pushpa Kamal Dahal (Prachanda) has reached Dhulikhel during his family outing. He arrived there with his grandchildren and experienced the classic zip line.
Stating that he is interested in adventurous activities, Prachanda said that he enjoyed the zip line very much. "It is fun to do such activities during family outings," he added.
The distance of the zip line from take off (Thakledanda, Dhulikhel) to the landing station (Khawa, Panchkhal) is 1100 meters with a vertical drop of 240 feet crosses at an average speed of 70 kilometers per hour. According to the organizers, this is the first time that a leader has enjoyed the game.
The zip line, located at a distance of 35 km from Kathmandu, had started its business since February, 2019. There are three types of zip lines: classic, superman and tandem.
