Actor Sunny Deol is currently flying high over the success of his recently released action drama film ‘Gadar 2’.
On Saturday night, the makers of ‘Gadar 2’ hoisted a grand success party of their film in Mumbai where several big celebs marked their presence.
Superstar Shah Rukh Khan attended the success bash with his wife Gauri Khan.
He was later seen posing with Sunny in front of the paps. Both of them also shared a warm hug.
SRK donned a grey jacket over a black t-shirt paired with dark cargo pants. He tied his hair into a ponytail.
Whereas Sunny wore a blue suit.
Soon after the actors made their appearance several pictures and videos of the actors went viral on social media,
SRK and Sunny previously worked together in the film ‘Darr’ which was released in the year 1993 and also featured Juhi Chawla in the lead role.
Meanwhile, talking about ‘Gadar 2’ till now the film has minted Rs 487.65 Crores at the Indian box office.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh, on Saturday, shared a post on Instagram and wrote, “#Gadar2 is an UNSTOPPABLE FORCE, inches closer to ₹ 500 cr… Await the JUMP on [fourth] Sat and Sun… [Week 4] Fri 5.20 cr. Total: ₹ 487.65 cr. #India biz.”
Helmed by Anil Sharma the film also starred Utkarsh Sharma and Ameesha Patel in the lead roles.
‘Gadar 2’ minted Rs 40 crore on its opening day in theatres, as per trade analyst Taran Adarsh. It became the second-best opener of 2023 after Shah Rukh Khan's 'Pathaan'.
Recently, SRK conducted his famous #AskSRK session on X (formerly known as Twitter) where he answered several fans’ questions.
During the session a fan asked him has he watched ‘Gadar 2’? to which he replied, “Yeah loved it!!”
‘Gadar 2' is a sequel to the hit film which was released in theatres in 2001. In the film, Sunny Deol played the role of Tara, a truck driver, while Ameesha Patel played Sakina in the film that was set during the partition of India in 1947.
Talking about SRK’s work front, he is currently busy promoting his upcoming action thriller film ‘Jawan’ which is all set to hit the theatres on September 7.
