25,000 children vaccinated in Doti

Twenty-five thousand school children in the Doti district have been vaccinated against coronavirus at their own schools. According to the District Health Office, the vaccination campaign started for the students aged 11 to 18 of all nine local levels of Doti.

According to the office, out of 33,000 children studying in all nine local level schools in the district, 25,000 children have been vaccinated in the first phase. Although the data of 33,000 students have been received in the district, only 25,000 doses of vaccine have been made available.

According to him, at least 10,000 people have been vaccinated so far. The vaccine should be administered within a month after it is taken out of the refrigeration system, said a source. Ninety-five percent of the vaccination centers will be provided in schools and some vaccination centers will be provided from hospitals and health posts in the future.

Information Officer Amar Singh Bhat said, "We have started vaccinating students within the school. The students have also started vaccinating happily."
